DJ Ninelyoko’s journey into music began in 2014 during college and has grown into over a decade of experience DJing conventions, private events, and well-known venues across North Carolina. Since relocating to Asheville, their work has expanded beyond performance, intentionally creating spaces that foster community, positivity, and education around the art of mixing.
 

With a deep-rooted passion for teaching and collaboration, Ninelyoko incorporates supportive, community-driven elements into the events they produce, inspiring both seasoned listeners and newcomers alike. Their goal is not just to play music, but to elevate the shared experience of it.

Musically, their foundation lives in breakbeat house, drum and bass, jungle, and old-school hardcore, genres that bring high energy, texture, and movement to every set.
